Subject: Why ACTA matters to Mozilla
To:

Dear Mozillians:

Only a few weeks have passed since we joined others that care about the internet for the virtual strike to protest the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) and Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the United States. Now, another piece of internet policy is the cause of concern and many of you - especially in Europe - are well aware of the discussion and activities around ACTA ("Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement").

We wanted to make sure you saw a blog post by Mitchell on the topics as well as a group being formed (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=725933) that will help define next steps around ACTA and will share local campaigns and activities.

To quote Mitchell's blog: "Building a healthy Internet takes all of us. It cannot be left to private, invitation-only process that excludes most of us. ... Please consider learning more and making your voice heard."

Thanks
The Mozilla team
